Browse Genre

Browsing by genre will bring back multiple works in the same genre category. The broad categories appear on the left of the screen, for example the 'Instrumental' or 'Sacred' genre. To the right of each of these broad genre terms are more specific sub-genres and the associated works found in the database. Scroll your mouse over a main category, and you can refine your selection by choosing one of the sub-categories offered to the right. You can continue to refine (narrow) a search until there are no more sub-categories available. Clicking on another category on the left hand menu will start a new browse.

When browsing, results are returned in alphabetical order by title.
